Guitar Orchestra & Youth Orchestra
Whether you've never played guitar before or you are an experienced student, playing in a large group a wonderfully rewarding experience. You or your child get to experience the teamwork and community that comes from being part of a group of musicians.
The class consists of 10 rehearsals, where the students in the orchestra will learn a number of pieces of music, followed by a concert in a beautiful venue, which is open to the public.
Classes currently available
"Youth Orchestra" - Ages 7-12 (Tuesdays from 5:30-6:00)
"Guitar Orchestra" - Ages 13 and up - (Tuesdays from 6:15-7:00)
Age requirements for participation are flexible depending on the guitarists ability level.
Younger students are encouraged to participate in my Music Classes for ages 5-7!
Students of every ability level are encouraged to participate, even if you have never touched the guitar before!
It is recommended that all members of the Orchestra either be actively taking guitar lessons (with any teacher), or already have an ability to read music on the guitar in traditional notation.
Enrollment is happening now for the Spring session, which begins March 1st, 2022
